Or "my town" as The Windmills sing in "Last Night". It's time to announce that the first The Rain Fell Down radio show will be on Monday the 8th of January, starting at 3 pm sharp and entertaining you with ancient and pristine indiepop sounds for a full hour! Just tune in to www.subcity.org. If you're too busy with work, you can simply wait for the 'listen again' link that will appear here shortly afterwards. I still have three podcasts to do before then though - including a Christmas theme of course!
This was a combined blog and radio show about POP! music. I started the blog when I moved to Glasgow and it ran during my stay there. We broadcast weekly from Glasgow University's Subcity.org. The shows are catalogued as SPLASHes, and you can still listen to all of them. There are also some rare or hard-to-find indiepop gems for download, and these are labelled DROP. Have fun while it lasts!
or any encouraging words you might have, can be sent to this address. But it'll be a whole lot easier to just leave a comment! I won't check the mail too often. If you've got more general ponderings, such as "what's all this pop stuff about anyway?", your questions might be answered by the manifesto I wrote some time ago, for better or worse.
