SPLASH 9

This is the second radio show and it went a BIT better this time. I still started too early though, so you won't be able to hear the nice little intro tune. Also, I've noticed that the stream skips a bit now and then. I'll have to see if anything can be done about that. Anyway, the name for the week's show is put together from Strawberry Switchblade and Baby Lemonade - one combination NOT used by Bubblegum Lemonade and Strawberry Whiplash, whom a large part of the show are about. Cover picture: Tennis practice at Drysdale Recreation Ground, by Partick Camera Club. Next week we'll have a Sarah Records Special, don't miss out!

The Loft – Winter
The Stems – Love Will Grow
The Springfields – Reach For the Stars
The Bats – Up to the Sky
Sodastream – Wedding Day
Nalda – When Nalda Became Punk
The Popguns – Don't Smile
The Manhattan Love Suicides – Indian Summer
The Primitives – She Don't Need You
A Smile and a Ribbon – My Bunny's Back
Bob & Fred – I'll Be On My Way
The Rain Parade – You Are My Friend
Bubblegum Lemonade – My Dreams of You
Bubblegum Splash! – Fast of Friends
Baby Lemonade – The Jiffy Neckwear Creation
Strawberry Whiplash – Who's In Your Dreams
Strawberry Switchblade – 10 James Orr Street
Meat Whiplash – Here It Comes

You're not putting the whole file online? I had such great fun listening to them on the mp3 player and since I am away from home (and therefore the computer) a lot these days, it would be so nice if I could listen to your podcasts. Just a suggestion. :)

No more tracks for download?
I miss the old (zipped tracks)
free download...

Where I can listen to your selections on my stereo over and
over....

This is a good set... can you please consider posting all the tracks in to one zip file ?

Oh please please I also say the same, but a zip file again. I *adore* your compilations!

well, they weren't really meant to be 'compilations'. it was just a temporary solution to do some podcasts, because broadcasting started so late. now it's a radio show and it would be nice if people listened to it :) it IS possible to download the show, but i'm not allowed to give you the password for that.

but as you seem a bit upset, maybe i should reconsider? i'm ok with downloading stuff, but there are many bands who are not. that's why i try to stick to stuff that you can't buy anywhere with the DROPs.

how about if i upload the listen-again file somewhere other than the radio's server? then you can listen to it on your mp3-player or stereo or whatever.

cheers

There is another problem, the music inside isnt what you played it is some horrible tecno-rap music :-(

it's like the rain didn't fall this time. in fact it went right back up! also, we really can't buy the stuff you're playing. mainly because we're broke. please share the music we luv.
